HORSHAM, PA — Biocoat Incorporated, a leading player in the biomaterials sector, has announced the appointment of Scott D’Amour as its new Chief Financial Officer. D’Amour steps into the role previously held by Steve Bell, who will retire in November 2023 after serving since January 2019.

D’Amour brings to Biocoat over 25 years of experience in financial leadership roles across various industries, including life sciences, medical technology, and technology. His impressive career portfolio includes tenures at Leidos, Berkshire Grey, Medtronic, HeartWare, Biotage, Bioprocessors, and Applied Biosystems. D’Amour holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College’s Carroll Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Jim Moran, President and CEO of Biocoat, expressed his appreciation for the outgoing CFO and welcomed D’Amour into the fold. “Steve has led all financial dealings for two different private equity transactions and was an integral part of Biocoat’s growth over the last five years.
