BENSALEM TWP, PA — Attention, Bucks County drivers: Prepare for potential delays as the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority undertakes utility construction on Gibson Road in Bensalem Township.
The construction work is scheduled for Monday, March 18, through Tuesday, March 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During this time, Gibson Road will be closed and detoured between Bensalem Boulevard and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road). Motorists are advised to use these alternative routes during the closure period.
Local access will still be maintained up to the work zone, but drivers should anticipate backups and delays when traveling through the area. The advice is simple: plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
Keep in mind that all these activities are weather-dependent. Any changes in weather conditions could result in adjustments to the construction schedule.
This improvement project is being carried out under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit by the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority.
