Base Repairs to Temporarily Close Sanatoga Road in Lower Pottsgrove

Travel Restrictions

LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming base repair operations on Sanatoga Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County. The work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 29, and Wednesday, April 30, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

During this period, Sanatoga Road will be closed between High Street and Pleasantview Road. Motorists traveling through the area will need to follow the designated detour routes along High Street and Pleasantview Road. Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained, though delays are expected, and drivers are encouraged to plan for extra travel time.

This project involves repairing, milling, and repaving the affected section of roadway. The work aims to seal the pavement with new asphalt, creating a safer and smoother surface for drivers.

All activities are weather dependent, and PennDOT advises motorists to exercise caution when approaching the work zone to ensure safety for both the crews and the public.
