PHILADELPHIA, PA — Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. (NYSE: AXTA) has appointed Chris Evans as Vice President of Global Strategy and Colleen Lubic as Vice President of Investor Relations. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Chris Evans, who joined Axalta as VP of Investor Relations in early 2022, will now lead the company’s global strategy and mergers and acquisitions efforts. Prior to Axalta, he managed investor relations for Ecovyst and directed corporate strategy for Chemours. Evans also spent over four years as a sell-side equity analyst covering the U.S. chemical industry for Goldman Sachs and started his career at ExxonMobil. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Rochester and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
“Chris’s leadership in running Investor Relations at Axalta has been outstanding,” said Carl Anderson, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. “His deep understanding of our business will be invaluable in his new role.” Anderson believes Evans’s new position will accelerate the execution of Axalta’s 2026 A Plan, which was unveiled during the company’s recent Strategy Day.
Colleen Lubic, who joined Axalta in April 2022 as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, steps into the Investor Relations role. Lubic has a diverse background in finance, having held several leadership roles at Campbell Soup Company, including Divisional Lead for Supply Chain Finance and Vice President of Finance for Campbell Company of Canada. She began her career as an auditor at Deloitte and holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Villanova University.
“Colleen has been a critical partner for the business,” added Anderson. “Her extensive experience in finance coupled with strong communication skills make her an excellent fit for leading our Investor Relations function.”
These leadership changes come as Axalta focuses on strategic growth and stronger investor engagement.
