MEDIA, PA — Pennsylvania State Police from the Media Station are continuing their investigation into an alleged theft and access device fraud incident that took place on July 5, 2023. The incident involves a female suspect who allegedly stole multiple items from an employee’s purse at Outback Steakhouse in Concord Township, Delaware County.
The suspect, described as a Black woman, is said to have entered the restaurant and proceeded to the back area where she allegedly lifted three debit cards, one gift card, and a driver’s license from an employee’s purse. Following the alleged theft, the suspect reportedly fled the area.
Further allegations suggest that the woman then proceeded to Sid’s Liquors on Maryland Avenue in Wilmington, Delaware. At this location, she allegedly used the stolen cards to make fraudulent purchases. Accompanying her was a Black male, who was also observed entering a black Dodge Charger after the pair exited the store together.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about this case to contact PSP Media at (484) 840-1000 or anonymously contact the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477).
