GLENSIDE, PA — Arcadia University has once again distinguished itself as a leader in education with its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, which has been ranked the top DPT program in the Philadelphia area by the 2025 U.S. News & World Report graduate school rankings. The program also holds the position of second in Pennsylvania and is within the top 15 percent of all programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
Housed within Arcadia’s College of Health Sciences, the DPT program is known for its innovative, patient-focused curriculum, which offers both on-campus and hybrid learning pathways. Students in the program have access to a unique global health elective, allowing them to gain international clinical experience in Bolivia, Jamaica, Guatemala, and Belize.
Beyond the entry-level DPT degree, Arcadia offers a suite of specialized and advanced programs, including a dual degree in Physical Therapy and Public Health, as well as post-professional opportunities like the Orthopaedic Residency, Sports PT Residency, and a PhD in Movement Science.
