Aqua Pennsylvania to Begin Water Main Construction in Delaware County

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania has announced plans to commence water main construction on Oak Avenue in Aldan Borough and Upper Darby Township starting Monday, January 27.

The construction will take place weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, continuing through Friday, May 30. During this period, Oak Avenue will be closed between Green Lane and Cottonwood Avenue. A detour will direct motorists to use MacDade Boulevard, Kedron Avenue/Woodland Avenue, and Baltimore Pike. Local access will remain available up to the construction zone.

Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and allow for extra travel time while near the work area. All construction activities are weather dependent.
