LANCASTER, PAAcclaim Autism has opened a new Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy center at 1821 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA, bringing high-quality autism services to the region. The center, which began serving families this month, focuses on early intervention for children aged 2-5 through its specialized Early Childhood program.

Led by Clinical Director Kadija Tahirou, the program provides individualized, one-on-one support to help children develop essential skills in a nurturing and engaging environment. The center emphasizes communication, social interaction, and school readiness, integrating play-based activities to make learning enjoyable and effective.

“We are thrilled to open our Lancaster center, expanding access to high-quality support for children with autism and families in need,” said Tahirou. “This center represents our commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers children to reach their full potential.”

Acclaim Autism’s Early Childhood program is built on several key principles, including personalized therapy plans, skill-building, and transition support to help children prepare for school settings. The staff also offers continuity of care by attending sessions at schools to maintain progress when needed.

The Lancaster facility continues Acclaim Autism’s legacy of successful therapy programs, which have been well-received in Philadelphia and West Chester, PA. “Our goal is to empower children with autism to achieve their potential and lead fulfilling lives,” said Jamie Turner, President of Acclaim Autism. “We’re excited to bring the same level of expertise and dedication to Lancaster.”

With limited availability and high demand, the center plans to expand its capacity by summer to serve even more families. By opening this new location, Acclaim Autism aims to provide critical resources and support, fostering growth and opportunity for children and their families within the Lancaster community.
