MEDIA, PA — The sun wasn’t the only thing heating up on Friday, June 21st—the competition at the annual Delco Senior Games was scorching! The mission of the Delaware County Senior Games is to engage residents over the age of fifty in two weeks of fun events that promote a healthy, social, and active lifestyle. Sponsored by Delaware County Council, the County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA), the Department of Parks and Recreation, and the VisitDelcoPA Tourism Bureau, the Senior Games offer a wonderful opportunity for active adults to stay healthy and connected.
Among the shining stars of the day was Chester Water Authority (CWA) Board Treasurer, Livia Smith. A standout athlete since her high school days, Mrs. Smith continues to lead a health-conscious lifestyle. Her remarkable performance at this year’s event is a testament to her dedication and athletic prowess, making CWA immensely proud.
