LANCASTER, PA — Registration is now open for the 2025 Pasa Sustainable Agriculture Conference, one of the most highly anticipated events in the agricultural calendar. Taking place February 5–7 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the conference promises three days packed with educational sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to strengthen the sustainable farming community.

For nearly 35 years, the Pasa Conference has supported farmers and food businesses in advancing sustainable practices while fostering a collaborative spirit among a diverse group of attendees, including environmental advocates, chefs, researchers, and policymakers.

This year’s agenda boasts over 80 educational sessions, addressing topics such as agroforestry, soil health, rotational grazing, organic apple production, farm labor issues, and more. Acclaimed figures in the industry will share their expertise, with keynote speaker Jaime Elizondo of Real Wealth Ranching discussing ranching methods that balance ecological health and farmer well-being. The conference will close with a plenary from Dr. Lyla June Johnston, highlighting Indigenous food and land management practices.

Workshops and networking events are complemented by a vibrant trade show, featuring dozens of exhibitors offering tools, seeds, and services tailored to farmers and environmentally conscious consumers. Unique activities such as book and seed swaps, live demonstrations, and classified boards for opportunities make the trade show a key attraction.

Recognizing the isolating nature of farm work, the conference also emphasizes community building. Special meetups are planned for groups such as women in agriculture, young and beginning farmers, queer farmers, and attendees from specific cities like Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Farm-to-table meals and local food tastings further enhance the sense of connection among attendees.
