LAMPETER, PA — Law enforcement is warning parents to be on the lookout for THC-infused candies that closely resemble popular children’s treats. The West Lampeter Police Department in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania recently seized several bags containing THC-infused candies during a traffic stop.

“It was alarming to see such a large quantity of products that were so close to resembling popular children’s candy,” said an officer with the West Lampeter Police Department. “We want to caution parents to be sure they know what their children have and are eating.”

THC-infused candies are easily purchased and can look very similar to regular candy. While these products may be legal in some states, they are still dangerous for children who may mistake them for regular candy. It is important for parents to be aware of what their children have access to, and make sure they understand the potential risks associated with consuming these substances.

Parents should also talk with their kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol in order to ensure their safety this summer season. Keeping an open dialogue and educating kids on the risks involved is key in preventing any potential harm that could come from consuming these products.

It is important for parents to stay alert and informed when it comes to keeping their kids safe this summer season. Make sure your family knows the risks associated with THC-infused candies before any potential problems arise.
