HARRISBURG, PA — The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has announced two public hearings to gather input on the renewal of slot machine operator licenses for Hollywood Casino Morgantown and Parx Casino.

The hearing for Parx Casino, operated by Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, Inc., is scheduled for Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. It will be held at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
Both hearings are open to the public. Residents, public officials, and community groups are invited to provide oral or written testimony regarding the license renewals. Written submissions can be made through the PGCB’s website or via email at boardclerk@pa.gov, fax at 717-265-7416, or by mail to PA Gaming Control Board, 303 Walnut Street/5th Fl. Commonwealth Tower, Harrisburg, PA 17101, Attention: Board Clerk.

A full list of registered speakers will be available on the PGCB website a week before the hearings and updated daily.
The license renewal process, mandated by Section 1326 of the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development and Gaming Act, involves a two-step procedure. Public input hearings collect testimony and evidence, followed by a separate public hearing in Harrisburg where Board members will ask further questions and consider arguments from the licensees. Renewal applicants must demonstrate compliance, integrity, community engagement, and contributions to tax revenue and job creation.
For questions not related to the press, contact the PGCB’s Office of Hearings and Appeals at (717) 265-7451.
The PGCB’s evaluation will determine whether the licenses will be extended for another five years based on compliance with Pennsylvania’s laws and regulations.
