MIDDLETOWN, PA — A Powerball® ticket sold in Philadelphia has netted a substantial $1 million prize in the drawing held on Saturday, October 19. The fortunate ticket matched all five white balls drawn—7, 16, 19, 45, and 64—missing only the red Powerball® number 25. The winning ticket was purchased at ShopRite, located at 5597 Tulip Street, which will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket. Winners have a year to claim their prize from the drawing date.
In addition to the million-dollar win, over 50,800 other Powerball® tickets won various prizes, including more than 9,600 enhanced by Power Play® and over 4,700 with Double Play®. With the jackpot now rolling to an estimated annuity value of $478 million, or a cash option of $230.5 million, excitement is building for the next drawing on Wednesday, October 23.
Meanwhile, the Cash4Life® game continues to reward players, with its 17th $1 million prize in Pennsylvania awarded on Friday, October 18. This ticket, sold in Northampton County at Uni-Mart on Route 378, Bethlehem, matched all five balls but missed the green Cash Ball. The lucky winner can choose between an annuity of $52,000 per year for life or a one-time payout of $1 million. Uni-Mart will receive a $10,000 bonus for its role in the win.
The Pennsylvania Lottery also reported a jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket from the October 13 drawing, which claimed $450,000. Sold at Sheetz on Route 30, Latrobe, the ticket matched all five numbers drawn. The retailer will earn a $500 bonus for the sale.
Additionally, earlier this month, an Erie County player secured a $100,380 prize online through the Snow Me the Money game. This match 3 or match 4-style game provides opportunities for unlocking free games, adding another layer of excitement to online play.
These wins highlight the diversity of opportunities available through the Pennsylvania Lottery, offering players a chance to engage in a wide array of games both in-store and online. As jackpots climb and new winners emerge, the anticipation among Pennsylvania Lottery enthusiasts continues to soar.
