PENNSYLVANIA — The Powerball® jackpot is now worth a staggering $1 billion, with three winning tickets from the previous drawing. One ticket in Delaware County is worth $1 million, while two tickets in Lycoming and Allegheny counties are valued at $200,000 each.
Congratulations to the retailer awarded a $5,000 bonus for selling the Powerball® $1 million-winning ticket. That retailer is:
- Bethel Food Market, 1406 Naamans Creek Road, Garnet Valley, Delaware County.
The retailers who sold the $200,000 Powerball® tickets with Power Play® also received a $500 bonus. They are:
- Right-A-Way, 1200 Dewey Avenue, Williamsport, Lycoming County; and
- Giant Eagle, 600 Towne Square Way, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.
The $1 million-winning ticket matched all five white balls – 5, 8, 9, 17, 41 – to secure a $1 million prize. Two Powerball® tickets with Power Play® matched four white balls and the red Powerball® number – 21 – resulting in a $200,000 win. Without the $1 Power Play® option, each of these tickets would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play® multiplier drawn was four.
Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year to claim their prizes. Players should sign winning physical tickets and check them thoroughly. Over 166,800 other tickets won prizes in Monday’s drawing.
The ongoing Powerball jackpot, estimated at $1 billion ($516.8 million cash value), is presently the seventh-largest lottery jackpot in the United States and the third-largest in Powerball history. The jackpot has exceeded the $1 billion mark on three occasions, including the world record-breaking $2.04 billion won last year, the $1.586 billion won in 2016, and the current top prize.
