PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania U.S. Senator John Fetterman last week concluded a productive tour of central and northeastern Pennsylvania, engaging with constituents through various events held across the Commonwealth.

On Wednesday, Senator Fetterman made a visit to Penn State University’s Agriculture Progress Days, where he connected with advocates and delivered an impactful speech on agriculture and farming. He emphasized his commitment to fighting for rural communities in his role on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, ensuring that Pennsylvania’s hardworking farmers have a strong voice when the upcoming Farm Bill is discussed.

Continuing his tour on Thursday, Senator Fetterman had the privilege of exploring Heller’s Orchard in Luzerne County. Immersed in the farm’s rich history, he gained insight into its day-to-day operations as a small, family-owned orchard. Meaningful discussions were held with the owners, focusing on their expectations from the Senate in relation to the Farm Bill.

To conclude this eventful series of engagements, Senator Fetterman, alongside Mayor Paige Cognetti and Senator Bob Casey, came together in Scranton for the Mayors Innovation Project’s annual conference. Reflecting on his four terms as Mayor of Braddock, he applauded the remarkable efforts made by mayors and local leaders nationwide.

Through Senator Fetterman’s active involvement, Pennsylvania’s diverse communities remain at the forefront, ensuring their concerns and aspirations are heard and addressed at the highest level.
