ANNVILLE, PA — The Southeastern Veterans’ Center (SEVC) in Spring City, Chester County, is seeking compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals to join its team dedicated to caring for American veterans and their spouses. A job fair will be held on Thursday, May 8, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 1 Veterans Dr., Spring City, PA, 19475, offering attendees the chance to apply, interview onsite, and even receive conditional job offers.
The SEVC is actively hiring registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nurse aides, and encourages job seekers to bring two forms of identification to the event. With the facility serving as one of six veterans’ homes operated by the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), the positions offer a unique opportunity to support those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
“SEVC is truly a special place to live and work, and our employees make such a difference in the positive culture that we foster here at SEVC,” said Brian Gula, SEVC commandant. “Our employees have a unique opportunity to explore their passion for giving back to veterans all while developing their skills in a professional work environment.”
SEVC offers employees a range of benefits, including a recently introduced sign-on bonus for nursing staff, competitive salaries, extensive time-off allowances, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. Working at SEVC also provides staff with the rewarding experience of fostering relationships with residents and contributing to their care and well-being.
The SEVC will continue hosting its weekly Walk-in Wednesday hiring events from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. year-round. These events offer a convenient opportunity for job seekers to explore employment options and even receive a conditional job offer on the spot—no prior interview scheduling required.
As SEVC looks to expand its committed team, the upcoming job fair highlights its focus on providing career-enhancing opportunities in a supportive and meaningful work environment. Those interested in these roles are encouraged to attend and take the first step in joining the dedicated workforce serving Pennsylvania’s veteran community.
