HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has added 26 individuals to its various Involuntary Exclusion Lists, underscoring its commitment to maintaining safety and integrity at licensed casinos and online gaming platforms throughout the state. The exclusions, announced during a public meeting, include violations such as leaving minors unattended in casino parking areas and engaging in fraudulent activities on iGaming sites.
Four individuals were placed on the Casino Involuntary Exclusion List for leaving children unattended while they gambled. These incidents involved minors ranging in age from 11 months to 13 years being left alone in vehicles for durations spanning up to 45 minutes in environments characterized by unsafe weather conditions. The PGCB emphasized that such actions create dangerous situations for children and violate state gaming regulations. Supporting these efforts is the Board’s awareness campaign, “Don’t Gamble with Kids,” aimed at educating patrons on the risks and penalties associated with such behavior.
Additionally, nine individuals were excluded for fraudulent behavior involving iGaming accounts. These actions included the creation and use of multiple accounts under stolen identities to misappropriate funds or receive unlawful chargebacks. One of the highlighted cases involved an individual withdrawing $1,490 from accounts funded using stolen credit card information.
The remaining individuals were excluded for other actions deemed harmful to the integrity of Pennsylvania’s licensed gaming spaces. To date, over 1,269 people have been added to the Casino Exclusion List, with 61 currently listed on the iGaming Exclusion List.
The PGCB continues its enforcement measures to ensure compliance with state gaming laws while prioritizing the safety of patrons and the broader community. The next public meeting of the Board is scheduled for January 29, 2025.
