HARRISBURG, PA — Senator Dave McCormick (R-Pennsylvania) this week unveiled a robust in-state leadership team and announced the opening of seven regional offices across the Commonwealth, marking an important step in enhancing constituent services and accessibility. The appointments bring together experienced professionals with deep ties to Pennsylvania, each entrusted with the mission of serving residents and connecting them with vital federal resources.
“I’m excited about the great team we’re building in Pennsylvania,” said McCormick. “I was elected to serve every Pennsylvanian, and the quality of staff we’ve hired shows my commitment to the Commonwealth. I know this team will do outstanding work to help all Pennsylvanians navigate the federal government and put our constituents first.”
The newly appointed team includes prominent figures from state and federal government, public service, and private sector roles, many of whom bring decades of experience to their positions:
- Ryan P. Aument, State Director
A decorated Army veteran and eighth-generation South Central Pennsylvanian, Aument brings 20 years of public service experience to the role. Having served in the Pennsylvania General Assembly as both Representative and Senator from 2010 to 2024, Aument is well-acquainted with the unique needs and challenges facing Pennsylvanians. - Anna Romeo, Deputy State Director for Constituent Services, Outreach, and Coalitions
Romeo, a Montgomery County native, offers 12 years of congressional experience, having served as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to Congressman Dave Joyce of Ohio. Her deep expertise in legislative matters positions her to strengthen civic engagement and constituent outreach. - Stephanie Applegate, Press Secretary
Known for her crisis communication skills, Applegate previously served as Communications Director for the Pennsylvania Senate Majority Whip. A Dauphin County native and Dickinson College graduate, she brings a seasoned understanding of state government to her new role.
Regional directors and managers, each responsible for different geographic areas, include individuals with noteworthy records of public service. For example, Logan Hoover, South Central PA Regional Manager, is an eleventh-generation Pennsylvanian who previously held key legislative roles in both state and federal contexts. Similarly, Chris Quinn, Southeastern PA Regional Director, brings a background in local government and business, having been a member of Middletown Township Council and founder of a successful insurance agency.
Additionally, the team includes Sam DeMarco, a Marine Corps veteran and leader in Allegheny County; Sheila Sterrett, who previously worked as Northwestern PA Regional Manager under Senator Pat Toomey; and Nathan Gerace, the youngest mayor in Tamaqua’s history, who now takes on the Northeastern PA Regional Director role. Each leader brings experience crucial for delivering efficient and responsive services.
The seven regional offices will be strategically positioned to ensure comprehensive coverage across the Commonwealth. These offices aim to provide direct assistance to constituents in accessing federal programs and services. With these facilities in place, residents will have increased access to resources ranging from veterans’ benefits to small business support.
The assembled team reflects McCormick’s focus on fostering a capable and experienced staff to address the needs of Pennsylvanians. By drawing on local expertise and opening regional offices, the senator aims to bridge the gap between constituents and the federal government.
The leadership heralds an ambitious framework for addressing the concerns and priorities of Pennsylvanians. With a robust team in place, Senator McCormick has laid the groundwork for substantial improvements in constituent services and outreach, ensuring accessible and effective representation at all levels of government. The future success of this initiative will depend on the team’s ability to translate their expertise into actionable results for the people of Pennsylvania.
