PITTSBURGH, PA — Raymond Briskey was convicted of committing cocaine and crack trafficking and firearm crimes, announced United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan.
Briskey, age 38, of Sharon, Pennsylvania, pled guilty on Monday, September 18, 2023, before United States District Judge Joy Flowers Conti. He pled guilty to possessing with intent to distribute cocaine and cocaine base on October 21, 2020, and to possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime on that date. Judge Conti scheduled sentencing to occur on April 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller is prosecuting this case on behalf of the United States.
The Mercer County Drug Task Force, the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives conducted the investigation leading to the return of the Indictment in this case.
