PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania State Representative Ryan Bizzarro recently announced that his candidacy for Pennsylvania Treasurer has received endorsements from more than 150 officials at the local, county, state, and federal levels. This announcement comes a week after Bizzarro officially declared his intent to run for the office.

Among his endorsers is Congresswoman Madeleine Dean (PA-04), who voiced her support for Bizzarro’s pro-democracy and pro-women’s rights stance. Dean stated, “We must curb the spread of extremism in both our politics and government. In the race for Pennsylvania Treasurer, that’s Ryan Bizzarro.”

Pennsylvania Speaker of the House Joanna McClinton also expressed her support for Bizzarro, emphasizing the need for a state treasurer who is committed to investing in a future that works for everyone. “Ryan Bizzarro is that leader, and I’ve got his back. Please join me in supporting my friend and Pennsylvania’s next State Treasurer, Ryan Bizzarro,” stated McClinton.

Congressman Dwight Evans (D-03) echoed this sentiment, confirming his belief in Bizzarro’s leadership abilities. Congressman Matt Cartwright (PA-08) highlighted Bizzarro’s track record in fighting to secure retiree pensions, a battle he believes Bizzarro will continue as Treasurer.

In response to these endorsements, Bizzarro emphasized his commitment to protecting the people’s money and standing up for workers. He pledged not to exploit his office to promote radical agendas that threaten democracy. “I couldn’t be more proud to earn the trust of these leaders from every corner of the Commonwealth, and I’m ready to earn the trust of every voter in every county,” Bizzarro said.

Bizzarro also hinted at more endorsements to come as his campaign continues. “This is just the start of our campaign and only the first wave of announced endorsements. I look forward to rolling out even more as the campaign continues,” he said.
