ERIE, PA — Hank Thomas Fisher, a 22-year-old resident of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related to the sexual exploitation of children. United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan made the announcement on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Fisher admitted guilt to one count before United States District Judge Susan Paradise Baxter. As part of his guilty plea, the court was informed that between March 2020 and August 2021, Fisher distributed images and videos depicting prepubescent minors involved in sexually explicit conduct. Additionally, Fisher was found in possession of thousands of images and videos that constituted child sexual abuse material.

Judge Baxter has scheduled sentencing for Fisher on April 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Under federal law, Fisher could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, or both. The actual sentence will be determined based on the seriousness of the offenses and any prior criminal history of the defendant, as per the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

Assistant United States Attorney Christian A. Trabold is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government. The investigation leading to Fisher’s prosecution was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Police.
