Harrisburg Man Indicted on Drug Trafficking and Firearm Offenses

HARRISBURG, PA — Ewhnik Proctor, a 26-year-old resident of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was indicted by a federal grand jury on February 7, 2024, on charges of drug trafficking and firearms offenses.

U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam stated that the indictment alleges that Proctor distributed a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine on separate occasions in 2022. Additionally, Proctor is accused of possessing a firearm, which he was allegedly prohibited by law from doing.

The case was jointly investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General. Assistant U.S. Attorney K. Wesley (Wes) Mishoe is prosecuting the case.

If found guilty, Proctor could face up to 35 years in prison under federal law for the indicted offenses, followed by a term of supervised release, and a fine. Any sentence would be imposed by the judge after consideration of applicable federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
