PITTSBURGH, PA — Kenneth Miller, a 62-year-old resident of Farrell, has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for his role in a cocaine distribution network. This sentence will be followed by three years of supervised release, as announced by United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

United States District Judge Cathy Bissoon delivered the sentence after Miller pleaded guilty to participating in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine from June 2020 through June 2021. The court learned that Miller facilitated the operations of his co-defendants by allowing his apartment to serve as a conversion site where powder cocaine was processed into crack cocaine. In exchange for his assistance, Miller received portions of the cocaine.

The case against Miller was spearheaded by Assistant United States Attorneys Benjamin C. Dobkin and Craig W. Haller. Their efforts underscore the collaborative approach taken by federal and state law enforcement agencies in dismantling drug trafficking operations.

The successful prosecution of Miller is attributed to the exhaustive investigative work carried out by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Pennsylvania State Police, and local law enforcement units including the Lawrence County Drug Task Force, Mercer County Drug Task Force, and police departments from New Castle, Sharon, Hermitage, and Farrell.
