PENNSYLVANIA – The Pennsylvania Lottery has disclosed that two lucky Treasure Hunt tickets from the Wednesday, January 24 drawing will share a jackpot prize of $130,000! The winning tickets were sold in Philadelphia and Lycoming County.

The two jackpot-winning tickets successfully matched all five numbers drawn – 8, 19, 26, 27, and 28. Each ticket holder will take home an individual prize of $65,000, less applicable withholding. One winning ticket was sold at Wawa on Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, while the other was purchased at GIANT Food Stores on East 3rd St., Williamsport, Lycoming County.

But these weren’t the only winners. The Pennsylvania Lottery also revealed that over 41,000 other Treasure Hunt tickets won prizes in the same drawing. This serves as a reminder to all players to check every ticket, every time, as you never know when luck might strike!

It’s important to note that winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Treasure Hunt winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. If you’ve purchased a winning ticket at a Lottery retailer, make sure to sign it on the back immediately. Online winnings will automatically appear in a player’s account once the claim has been processed.

Introduced in May 2007, the Treasure Hunt game is drawn during the day, seven days a week. Ticket sales end at 1:05 p.m. each day and drawing results are posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery website after 1:35 p.m.

So, Pennsylvanians, keep your eyes on those tickets and you could be the next big winner! Remember, every ticket holds the potential for a treasure hunt win. Who knows? The next jackpot could be yours!
