WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a strategic move ahead of the November elections, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has initiated a bilingual billboard campaign across key battleground states, including Pennsylvania. The campaign aims to present a stark contrast between the Democratic ticket of Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz, and the Republican candidates, Donald Trump and JD Vance.

The billboards, prominently displayed in major Pennsylvania cities such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg, are designed to inform voters about the choices they face in the upcoming election. The DNC’s message is clear: Harris and Walz are champions for working people, while Trump and Vance are portrayed as serving their own interests.

Addy Toevs, DNC Spokesperson, emphasized the campaign’s mission in a recent statement: “The DNC is blanketing the battlegrounds with a clear message: Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz are fighting for working people, and Donald Trump and JD Vance are only out for themselves. In the final weeks leading up to Election Day, voters across Pennsylvania are tuning into the clear choice before them: a vision for Pennsylvanians that prioritizes the needs of working people, that prizes our rights and freedoms, and that helps all communities get ahead, or a dark vision that drags us backwards and puts billionaires ahead of working Pennsylvania families. Vice President Harris and Governor Walz are building historic momentum across Pennsylvania and other key battlegrounds and the DNC will continue to make sure Pennsylvanians know who is fighting for them as we engage and turn out the strong coalition of voters that will carry Vice President Harris and Governor Walz across the finish line this November.”

The billboards are strategically placed to maximize visibility and impact. In Philadelphia, notable locations include I-95 at Westmoreland Street, I-76 Schuylkill Expressway, and Route 322 West. Pittsburgh sees placements on I-376 and the Homestead High Level Bridge. In Harrisburg, key spots include PA 581 at I-83 and US 322-422.

This initiative marks the DNC’s first paid media campaign with the finalized tickets and signifies a concerted effort to sway the electorate in crucial states. By using bilingual messaging, the campaign hopes to engage a diverse voter base, ensuring that the Democratic message resonates across various communities.

As the election approaches, the DNC’s focus remains on highlighting the perceived differences between the two tickets, striving to build momentum for Harris and Walz through consistent and targeted outreach. The billboard campaign aim to inform and mobilize voters in Pennsylvania, a state that could play a pivotal role in the outcome of the upcoming election.
