Office of the Attorney General

PENNYSLVANIA — Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry, together with 12 other Attorneys General across the United States, has released a statement condemning the recent violence in Israel and Gaza. The united front includes representatives from Arizona, California, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, and Oregon.

The collective statement expressed deep dismay and outrage at the deliberate attacks on civilians. The group attributed the destruction and loss of hundreds of innocent lives to the actions of Hamas and its supporters. They extended their condolences to the Israeli people, as well as to all those affected by the sudden eruption of violence in both Israel and Gaza.

Criticizing the indiscriminate firing of thousands of rockets at civilian targets by Hamas, the Attorneys General stated that such actions are unacceptable and indefensible. They emphasized that violence and terror will not pave the way to a sustainable and meaningful resolution to the conflict.

The statement concluded by advocating for the rule of law, mutual respect, and understanding as the means to achieve true security, freedom, justice, and peace for all parties involved. This united stand by the Attorneys General is a clear denunciation of the violence and a call for peaceful resolution in the region.
