Aqua Pennsylvania Urges Customers to Apply for Financial Assistance Program

BRYN MAWR, PAAqua Pennsylvania, an Essential Utilities company, is encouraging customers facing financial difficulties to apply for its Customer Assistance Program (CAP). The program, available year-round and managed by the Dollar Energy Fund (DEF), provides eligible customers with discounts on their water and wastewater bills.

“Aqua is dedicated to supporting our customers in need,” said Rita Black, Essential Utilities’ Director of Community Assistance Programs. “We understand that unexpected financial challenges and limited household income can increase the stress associated with paying bills, especially for an essential resource like water. We encourage our customers in need to take advantage of this valuable program.”

Customers interested in CAP can use DEF’s income calculator to determine if they qualify. Applications can be submitted by calling 1-888-282-6816 or visiting www.hardshiptools.org/MyApp for further details on eligibility requirements and application steps. Community organizations are also available to assist individuals in enrolling in the program.

Aqua Pennsylvania’s CAP is part of a broader effort to provide support for customers who may be struggling financially. More information about additional resources and programs can be found at AquaWater.com.
