PENNSYLVANIA — During the month of July, the Pennsylvania Lottery reported a total of $193,572,236 in prizes claimed by Scratch-Off winners. One fortunate player from Philadelphia claimed an impressive $3 million top prize. Furthermore, players from Lackawanna, Northumberland, and Berks counties each snagged a $1 million top prize.
The retailer who earned a $10,000 bonus for selling the $3 million-winning ticket, and the retailers who each earned a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning Scratch-Off tickets worth $1 million, are:
- ACME Markets, 815 North Lansdowne Avenue, Upper Darby Township, Delaware County ($10,000 bonus);
- Convenient Food Mart, 3021 North Main Avenue, Scranton, Lackawanna County ($5,000);
- Boyer’s Food Market, 2688 Locust Gap Highway, Mount Carmel, Northumberland County ($5,000); and
- Sam’s Place, 5479 Pottsville Pike, Leesport, Berks County ($5,000 bonus).
Across Pennsylvania, other big prizes claimed during July included:
- Eight prizes of $500,000;
- Two prizes of $300,000;
- One prize of $250,000;
- Seven prizes of $200,000; and
- Three prizes of $100,000.
The Pennsylvania Lottery website, palottery.com, provides information for Scratch-Off players. The monthly winner list can be found in the Winners section, but it does not include prizes under $1,000. Players are advised to read the game rules, check tickets promptly, and claim winnings immediately. Prizes expire one year from the end-sale date.
