BUCKS COUNTY, PA — PECO Energy is slated to embark on a series of utility construction projects on four state highways in Bucks County, leading to scheduled lane closures and likely traffic delays over the next few months. The work, authorized under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit, will commence on Tuesday, January 2, and continue through Monday, April 1.
During this period, weekday lane closures are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on select routes. Affected routes include Route 413 (Durham Road) between Dark Hollow Road and Stump Road in both Bedminster and Plumstead townships, Route 611 (Easton Road) between Quarry Road and Spruce Hill Road in Bedminster Township, Creek Road between Quarry Road and Wismer Road in Bedminster Township, and Wismer Road between Stump Road and Point Pleasant Road in Plumstead Township.
These closures, part of the utility company’s ongoing infrastructure enhancement efforts, are expected to cause backups and delays. Therefore, motorists who frequently travel these routes are advised to allot extra time for their journeys or consider alternate routes when possible.
The planned construction activities are weather-dependent, and schedules may shift accordingly.
