WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall by G.S. Gelato & Desserts, Inc. of a limited amount of Full Circle Market Coconutmilk Chocolate Almond Crunch Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert. The recall involves 1 Pint/16 fl.oz. paper cartons, specifically Lot 041624L2 with a Best By Date of 10/15/2025 and UPC 0 36800 46964 8. The recall is due to the product containing undeclared cashew, posing a risk for serious or life-threatening allergic reactions in individuals with cashew allergies.

The affected product was distributed to distribution centers carrying the Full Circle Market brand in Georgia, Massachusetts, and New York. It subsequently reached retail stores in New York, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Shipments occurred between April 18, 2024, and July 11, 2024.

No adverse reactions have been reported to date. The issue was identified when a retail store notified G.S. Gelato that the product carton and lid displayed two different brands. A subsequent investigation revealed that a single lot of cashewmilk product was mistakenly dispensed into Full Circle Market Coconutmilk cartons during manufacturing.

Consumers in possession of the affected product should not consume it if they have a cashew allergy or sensitivity. For product disposition, consumers can contact Ginger Moss at (850) 243-5455 Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, or via email at gmoss@gsgelato.com.
