WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Food and Drug Administration has announced a voluntary recall by Flagstone Foods, LLC, the manufacturer of Emerald Nuts, for its 6.5oz Emerald Kettle Glazed Walnuts. This recall is due to the presence of undeclared peanuts, almonds, and pecans in the product. Individuals with allergies to these nuts face serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume the mislabeled product.

The specific lot affected is 2EE06284 with a best-by date of June 28, 2025. The affected product has been distributed to Publix locations in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Consumers in Florida have identified the mislabeled packages.

The recall was initiated following consumer reports of unexpected nuts in packages labeled as walnuts. An investigation confirmed that a limited number of mislabeled packages were produced.

No other Emerald products or lot codes are affected by this recall. Flagstone Foods has not received reports of illness or injury related to this issue. Consumers should discard or return the product to Publix for a full refund. Retailers are instructed to remove the affected products from distribution immediately.
