Join Author David Cross as He Discusses His Essay “Chasing History”

VALLEY VORGE, PAThe Washington Memorial Heritage has announced that it will host a fascinating discussion with renowned historian and author David Cross of Indispensable Leadership (LLC) about his acclaimed Washington Post essay “Chasing History: One Man’s Road Trip Through The Presidential Libraries” Thursday, November 10 at 6 PM at the Washington Memorial Chapel.

During this exclusive “Lead Like George” Leadership event, Cross will take the audience on a journey through his life-changing experience of visiting each of the 13 Presidential Libraries on one very long road trip. Armed with the question “Can the 13 institutions be combined into one central Presidential Research Center?”, Cross found much more than he was looking for in his quest for an answer. He found a first step to understanding history.

The Washington Memorial Heritage Leadership Forum Series is a History/Leadership and Author Events Program that kicked off earlier this year at the Washington Memorial Chapel. Drawing upon America’s Revolutionary history, the program examines the challenges and decisions faced by the country’s Founders. Analyzing their experiences, the program provides lessons that help attendees in their business and personal life.
