KENNETT SQUARE, PA — LCH Health and Community Services has expanded its offerings in Southern Chester County by adding primary care services to its West Grove Health Center. Starting March 3, patients can access routine wellness exams, health screenings, and many other primary care offerings at the center, located in the Jenners Village Professional Building.
The addition of primary care enhances the center’s existing specialty services, which include women’s health, pediatric care, dental services, and behavioral health. By consolidating these offerings in one location, LCH is ensuring comprehensive and affordable healthcare for individuals and families in the region.
“We’re excited to continue this trajectory of expanding access to care within our community,” said Ronan W. Gannon, CEO of LCH Health and Community Services. “The ability for our patients to visit their primary care physician at the location closest to home improves their standard of care and produces better health outcomes.”
The health center’s expansion underscores LCH’s commitment to addressing community needs, particularly at a time when many healthcare providers are scaling back services. Pennsylvania State Representative John Lawrence praised the move, calling it “an important addition to the community.”
Patients at West Grove can now schedule appointments for wellness visits, immunizations, sick care, chronic illness management, and more. Social service assistance is also available at all LCH locations, with an on-site pharmacy in Kennett Square offering affordable medication options.
With more than 30 million people nationwide relying on Federally Qualified Health Centers like LCH each year, the expansion in West Grove signals a significant step forward for healthcare access in Southern Chester County.
Building a Healthier Future
Expanding services at the West Grove Health Center reflects LCH’s goal of fostering a thriving community. By meeting the growing demand for local, quality care, LCH is paving the way for brighter health outcomes for its patients and neighbors.
