BRYN MAWR, PAMain Line Health‘s acute care hospitals have been nationally recognized by the American Heart Association for their outstanding stroke care. Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, and Riddle Hospital each received the prestigious Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus quality achievement award. This accolade acknowledges their commitment to delivering life-saving stroke care based on nationally recognized, research-driven guidelines.

Stroke is a major health concern, ranking as the fifth leading cause of death in the U.S. and a primary cause of disability. Prompt treatment is crucial, as strokes occur when blood vessels in the brain are blocked or burst, depriving brain cells of essential oxygen and nutrients.
