HMP Global Unveils Comprehensive Oncology Series, Great Debates in Solid Tumors

MALVERN, PA — HMP Global has announced the debut of its 2025 Great Debates in Solid Tumors series, combining the best of its three Great Debates programs into a dynamic educational event for oncology clinicians. The series will feature in-person conferences on March 22-23 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City and September 13-14 at the JW Marriott Miami, with virtual participation options available.

The series, known for its interactive, debate-style learning format, offers oncology professionals a valuable opportunity to engage with leading experts and access actionable clinical insights. Tracks will focus on gastrointestinal, lung, and women’s cancers, with sessions designed to assist practitioners in improving patient care through personalized treatments and addressing real-world challenges.

The gastrointestinal track will be co-chaired by Yelena Janjigian, MD, Chief of Gastrointestinal Oncology Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Cathy Eng, MD, FACP, FASCO, co-leader at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. Dr. Janjigian expressed enthusiasm about the multidisciplinary collaboration, describing the format as an “efficient, high-yield learning experience.”

The lung cancers track, led by Edward B. Garon, MD, MS, Director of Thoracic Oncology at UCLA, and Corey Langer, MD, FACP, of the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center, will enable attendees to explore a broad range of relevant issues. Garon noted that the expanded program allows oncologists to attend sessions across various cancer types, enriching their knowledge base.

For the women’s cancers track, Erica Hamilton, MD, of the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, and Kathleen Moore, MD, MS, of Stephenson Cancer Center, will spearhead discussions on the latest advancements in breast and gynecological oncology.

More than 30 expert faculty members will present over 30 sessions tailored to physicians, advanced practice providers, fellows, and other oncology professionals, offering insights they can apply immediately in clinical practice.
