Pennsylvania Attorney General Names Eisenberg and Wren to Leadership Roles

HARRISBURG, PA — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced two key appointments to senior positions within the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. Ron Eisenberg will serve as Executive Deputy Attorney General and Chief of the Civil Division, while Ben Wren has been named Deputy Chief of Staff.

Attorney General Sunday shared his enthusiasm for both appointments, stating, “I am thrilled to have Ron and Ben joining my senior team in these roles. Ron has been a dedicated member of the Attorney General team for many years. His experience and knowledge will be invaluable to the Civil Division. I look forward to him helping me represent the Commonwealth in impactful, complex civil litigation.

“Ben has been a trusted advisor and spokesman for me for the last several years. He has a wealth of experience and relationships that he brings to the Office of Attorney General. Pennsylvania and the Office of Attorney General will benefit greatly with Ron and Ben serving in leadership roles.”

Eisenberg graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and has extensive experience in public service, including his tenure as a supervising attorney in the Office of Attorney General for six years. Prior to that, he spent 25 years leading the law division at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, managing appellate work, legislative initiatives, and civil litigation. His role in the Civil Division will focus on overseeing major litigation matters impacting the Commonwealth.

Wren will oversee the Communications, Government Affairs, Constituent Services, and Public Engagement departments. He also will advise the Attorney General on major initiatives. Wren has a deep history in Pennsylvania politics, previously serving as a Chief of Staff in the Pennsylvania State Senate and as a senior advisor to President Pro Tempore Kim Ward. He also worked as an associate with Long Nyquist & Associates and as a spokesperson for Sunday’s campaign.
