Oxford Borough Seeking Administrative Assistant/Assistant Right-to-Know Officer

OXFORD, PA — Oxford Borough recently announced a job opening for an Administrative Assistant/Assistant Right-to-Know Officer. The new hire will provide direct support to the Borough Manager and Assistant Manager/Treasurer, performing a variety of administrative, clerical, and public contact work in the delivery of Borough services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex administrative tasks
  • Deliver Borough services with little supervision
  • Handle multiple projects and schedules simultaneously
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of people

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with asset management, utility billing, and website management software
  • Familiarity with social media platforms or the ability to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage transitions between tasks
  • Good organizational skills and telephone etiquette
  • Spanish language proficiency (desired, but not required)

The successful applicant must be able to maintain a professional attitude at all times and work harmoniously within a team. Prior municipal experience is preferred.
