PENNSYLVANIA — Speaker Joanna McClinton and Majority Leader Matt Bradford have announced the new leadership of the House Democratic Campaign Committee for the 2024 cycle. Rep. McClinton made history as the first woman Speaker of the Pennsylvania House, and the HDCC ran a targeted campaign to secure the majority in 2022. The outgoing Chair expressed confidence that the incoming leadership will continue building on their previous success to expand the majority in 2024.

Rep. Tina Davis has been appointed as HDCC Chair, with Rep. Nick Pisciottano serving as Vice Chair. The Finance Co-Chairs will be Rep. Tim Briggs, Rep Dan Frankel and Rep. Melissa Shusterman. The Recruitment Co-Chairs will be Rep. Danilo Burgos, Rep. Kyle Mullins and Rep. Jennifer O’Mara.

“Nobody thought we would win the majority in 2022,” said Majority Leader Matt Bradford. “But the HDCC ran a targeted campaign, knowing that our path was incredibly narrow — and the voters saw fit to make Rep. Joanna McClinton the first ever woman Speaker of the Pennsylvania House. I know that Rep. Davis and the team will communicate our message to the voters.”

“I’m thrilled to serve as Chair of the HDCC for the 2024 cycle,” said Rep. Tina Davis. “Over the last two cycles, Rep. Leanne Krueger has led the professionalization of the HDCC and the restructuring of our operations — which had a direct correlation to winning the majority in 2022! We look forward to protecting and expanding the majority in 2024.”

Rep. Leanne Krueger, who served as Chair of the HDCC for the 2020 and 2022 cycles, has been elected as the Caucus Administrator for House Democrats.

“Serving as Chair of the HDCC for the last four years has been an honor and a privilege. I’m so proud of the way our Caucus worked together to flip the House and then protect our Majority during four successful special elections. I have full confidence that our Speaker, Majority Leader and the incoming Chairs will build upon the strong foundation we built together and work to expand our majority in 2024.”
