Emily Sagor, Pennsylvania Policy Manager at Teach Plus PA, stressed the importance of equitable reforms that promote accessibility without compromising professional requirements. “This will not only help address the teacher shortage but also ensure the certification process is fair, equitable and aligned with the needs of our students,” she stated, underscoring the link between teacher retention and student outcomes.
