WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Department of Emergency Services announced it is hosting a hiring event on Monday, July 24th to fill vital roles in the community. From 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM at the Government Services Center, located at 601 Westtown Road in West Chester, qualified candidates will have the chance to apply for positions as 9-1-1 Dispatcher (Full Time) and Safety & Security Operator (Full Time and Part Time).

Candidates are encouraged to apply for more than one position if they are unsure which would be the best fit for them and want to learn more about each one. Open positions can be found at Chesco.org/desjobs. During the event, 9-1-1 Dispatcher candidates will undergo CritiCall testing, 9-1-1 observations, a tour, and an interview. Safety & Security candidates will take part in a tour, observation exercises, and an interview.
