MALVERN, PA — HMP Global‘s WoundCon, in collaboration with the Post Acute Wound & Skin Integrity Council (PAWSIC), is set to deliver high-quality educational content tailored to post-acute care professionals throughout 2025. This partnership aims to improve access to advanced wound care knowledge for healthcare providers who often face logistical challenges in attending in-person events.
WoundCon 2025 will host virtual conferences on March 21, July 11, and November 7. These events are crafted to meet the educational needs of a global, multidisciplinary audience, offering free participation for licensed healthcare professionals. The program includes diverse sessions such as Wound to the Wise, WoundCon Rounds, and Dress for Success, all designed to equip participants with actionable insights.
PAWSIC’s involvement will enrich WoundCon’s core educational offerings through sessions led by their faculty experts. This collaboration is seen as a strategic alignment to enhance the quality of wound care education. Tiffney Oliver, Vice President of Wound Care at HMP Education, expressed the significance of this partnership, emphasizing the need for accessible educational resources for healthcare workers constrained by time and travel costs.
Jeanine Maguire, President of PAWSIC, highlighted the value of this collaboration in extending their mission of delivering innovative education directly to professionals working in post-acute care settings. Attendees will benefit from interactive sessions with world-renowned specialists, including co-chairs Catherine Milne and Jayesh B. Shah, who are committed to advancing wound care practices.
The program is built on attendee feedback, ensuring relevant and current content. Participants can earn 5.75 continuing education credits during the live sessions and up to 15.75 credits through on-demand access, available for two weeks after each event, at no cost.
