Hummel was specifically honored in the Workforce Innovator category, highlighting her impactful contributions to supply chain education and workforce development.
Hummel’s tenure at Pyle spans over 38 years, during which she has held multiple leadership roles. Her innovative initiatives have significantly boosted the company’s operational efficiency. Her career has paralleled Pyle’s expansion from a single-terminal operation to a leading supply chain solutions provider in the Northeast. Hummel’s efforts have been instrumental in this growth trajectory.
In addition to her professional achievements, Hummel has dedicated more than 28 years to volunteering with the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals, mentoring emerging female leaders. Her collaboration with the University of Alabama also stands out, where she engaged with students and faculty to inspire interest in supply chain careers.
