WEST CHESTER, PA — MyChesCo, a hyperlocal community and social media platform in Chester County, today announced they will be removing their classified ads section to make way for future, new experiences.
The platform introduced MyChesCo Classifieds in 2018 as a free online advertising solution, and a way to help the people of Chester County discover local personal goods sales, small businesses, real estate, community announcements, and other notices.
However, over the past two years, the section accounted for less than 1% of visitors and pageviews on MyChesCo. Ultimately, it has been determined people found the service far less useful than originally projected.
Consequently, the platform will remove MyChesCo Classifieds next month and will also remove all products and third-party partner integrations.
From their research, people told MyChesCo that they want to stay informed about what is happening around them.
The platform is committed to ensuring the information people see on MyChesCo is high quality and is focusing on ways to draw attention to what matters most to Chester County, Pennsylvania.
