Vanguard Achieves Top Ranking for DIY Investor Satisfaction

Vanguard

VALLEY FORGE, PA — Vanguard has once again secured the highest spot for do-it-yourself (DIY) Investor Satisfaction in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Investor Satisfaction Study. This marks the fourth consecutive year Vanguard has been recognized with this honor, underscoring its commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

“This acknowledgement from J.D. Power speaks to Vanguard’s continued investment in our client experience and is grounded in our mission to take a stand for all investors, to treat them fairly, and to give them the best chance for investment success,” said Matt Benchener, Managing Director of Vanguard’s Personal Investor business. “This award is humbling, and our work is far from over—we will continue to leverage our investors’ feedback to deliver an easy, purpose-driven, and personalized client experience.”

Vanguard also ranked first in three critical areas of the study, including brand trust, alignment of products and services with investor needs, and value for fees paid. These rankings further highlight the company’s strong commitment to investor satisfaction.

Enhancements for self-directed clients played a key role in Vanguard’s success. Over the past year, Vanguard introduced a new trade path to support healthy investing behaviors, redesigned its digital support center to improve navigation and personalization, and delivered more than 30 updates to its mobile app based on user feedback. Additionally, the company implemented personalized digital nudges to encourage sound financial decisions and expanded its offerings with the launch of the Cash Plus Account, providing a competitive 3.65% APY.

The J.D. Power 2025 study evaluated approximately 4,000 investors across seven key dimensions, including trust, ease of doing business, digital channels, and value for fees. Vanguard’s consistent focus on enhancing its services and addressing client needs has reinforced its position as an industry leader.
