MALVERN, PA — Rajant Health Incorporated (RHI), a division of the renowned Rajant Corporation, has announced the appointment of Tom Van Horn to its board of directors. The appointment, effective December 8th, 2023, marks a significant step in the company’s strategic expansion in global markets.
Robert Schena, CEO of both Rajant and RHI, expressed enthusiasm over the new appointment, citing Van Horn’s comprehensive international business knowledge as a valuable asset. Van Horn’s expertise is expected to bolster RHI’s expanding product and service offerings, including their enterprise Edge (Cowbell), personal Edge (Q-Stat), and analytics (Trovomics) ecosystem, collectively known as Angelverse™. This system is built on the premise that individuals should maintain control over their own data, deciding where, when, and who they wish to share it with.
Giana Schena, Ph.D., and Executive Vice President of Rajant Health, also hailed Van Horn’s appointment. She underscored his extensive consulting experience as an invaluable resource to drive RHI’s growth. Given Van Horn’s proven track record in driving billion-dollar revenues in RHI’s target markets, the team is keen to leverage his insights.
Van Horn’s immediate task at hand will be to synthesize customer feedback from the launch of their latest products, Cowbell and Q-Stat, at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show, and convert these insights into actionable steps for the company.
Van Horn brings with him a rich career history, including his tenure as Accenture Global Managing Partner of Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) “APAC Sales Lead”, where he managed a team responsible for $1-2+ billion in annual sales in the APAC region. Following this, he formed his own consulting company, Barefoot Advisory Services, and later returned to IBM as VP, Market Maker CMT and Executive Strategic Sales Coach, in GTS North America.
On his appointment, Van Horn said, “I’m excited to apply my unique technical background and global network to a company that will make a difference in the healthcare industry. RHI is developing tools that will revolutionize how healthcare is delivered. I believe that RHI is positioned to be a global leader in the precision medicine tools market.”
With the addition of Van Horn to its board, Rajant Health is poised to further cement its position as a transformative player in the healthcare technology sector.
