EXTON, PA — West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (NYSE: WST) teamed up with the Philadelphia Eagles to celebrate Earth Day by enhancing the environment at Tyler Arboretum in Media, Pennsylvania. The collaboration included planting trees and removing invasive plant species, with participation from Eagles mascot SWOOP, former tight end Brent Celek, and the Eagles Cheerleaders.
As the Eagles’ official sustainability partner, West reinforced its commitment through the “West Field Goal Forest” program, pledging to plant 30 trees for every successful field goal made during the football season.
During the event, West presented Tyler Arboretum with a $105,000 donation to support horticultural projects. The funds will aid tree planting, invasive species removal, and staffing while also providing free or low-cost environmental education field trips for underserved local youth.
Mike Skuja, Executive Director of Tyler Arboretum, thanked West for its contribution. “Tyler Arboretum is so grateful to West Pharmaceutical Services for their generous support of our education, horticulture and land stewardship programs. In addition to ensuring local school groups can continue to learn about the natural world, West’s donation provides vital support to help us plant trees and revitalize our natural areas at a critical moment,” he said.
The partnership highlights a shared commitment to sustainability and engaging the community in preserving natural spaces.
