(NYSE: VPG) has unveiled its inaugural Sustainability Report, detailing the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives from 2022 to 2023. This comprehensive report underscores VPG’s dedication to sustainability through improvements in energy management, product quality, business ethics, information security, and health and safety.
Among the report’s highlights is a 13% reduction in electrical energy use intensity, benchmarked from a 2021 baseline. The company also achieved zero product recalls in 2023 due to manufacturing or design defects. Furthermore, VPG updated and trained its senior employees on revised Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption policies, and reported zero material information security breaches, penalties, or settlements in 2023.
