MALVERN, PA — Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (NYSE: VPG) has announced the appointment of Erez Lorber as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately. This move aims to leverage Mr. Lorber’s extensive expertise in technology and business leadership.
Saul Reibstein, Chairman of the Board, expressed enthusiasm about the new addition. “We are pleased to have Erez join our board. Mr. Lorber’s career is marked by significant roles in technology firms. From 2020 to 2023, he served as CEO of Questar Auto Technologies, a company specializing in predictive vehicle health using AI. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer at Storedot, known for its extreme-fast charging EV batteries utilizing nanotechnology and AI optimization. His experience also includes CEO positions at BackWeb Technologies, Tri-Logical Technologies, and Deloitte Consulting of Israel.
Additionally, Mr. Lorber currently sits on the board of CIPIA, a provider of in-cabin sensing solutions for the automotive industry. He has also held directorships at CopperGate and FlashNetworks.
Mr. Lorber holds an undergraduate degree from Temple University and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. His extensive background and proven track record in technology make him a valuable addition to Vishay Precision Group’s board.
