WAYNE, PA — Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX) has announced a new contract with Vizient, Inc., the nation’s largest healthcare performance improvement company. Effective January 1, 2025, the agreement grants Vizient’s members access to Teleflex’s Central Venous Access Catheters and Arterial Catheters under pre-negotiated terms, enhancing cost-efficiency and care quality for providers.
Vizient serves over 65% of U.S. acute care providers, including 97% of academic medical centers and more than 35% of the acute care market. Its contract portfolio represents over $140 billion in annual purchasing volume. By partnering with Vizient, Teleflex will expand the availability of its Arrow™ vascular access products, renowned for their innovation and safety features.

For more than 40 years, Teleflex has advanced vascular access through its Arrow™ Catheters. Products like the Arrowg+ard Blue Plus™ CVCs feature broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection, significantly reducing the risk of bloodstream infections. The contract also includes Arrow™ Arterial Catheterization Kits and ErgoPack™ Complete Systems, aiding providers in streamlining care while maintaining high safety standards.
This collaboration is expected to help healthcare systems optimize costs, reduce infection risks, and standardize vascular access practices, ultimately improving patient outcomes across Vizient’s extensive network of providers.
