MALVERN, PAEndo, Inc. (OTCQX: NDOI) has released its annual Corporate Responsibility Report, showcasing the strides made by Endo International plc (“EIP”) in 2023. This report highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices, even before Endo acquired EIP’s assets in April 2024 through the Chapter 11 process.

The 2023 report focuses on four key pillars: Business Practices, Team, Customers, and the World. Here are some of the highlights:

Business Practices:
  • Team members completed over six hours of information security training, achieving a 99.8% on-time completion rate in 2023.
  • More than 99% of team members know how to report ethical concerns or ask compliance-related questions.
  • The number of LGBTQ-owned suppliers increased by 200%.
Team:
  • The Recordable Incident Rate dropped to 0.1 per 100 employees, down from 0.4 in 2022.
  • 16% of team members received promotions in 2023, supported by leadership training programs.
  • Over 800 team members in India volunteered at 21 charities, donating 2,000 hours and impacting 7,350 lives.
Customers:
  • Team members submitted 1,200 improvement ideas through the Good Catch program, focusing on quality, safety, compliance, efficiency, and environmental impact.
  • A Clinical Advisory Board was formed to enhance clinical trials and site cooperation.
  • 402,000 units of medicine were donated to 23 countries, and the Mobile Health Unit in India reached almost 170,000 patients since its inception in 2017.

World:
  • Water stewardship improved with technologies like membrane filtration and reverse osmosis, reusing effluents for plant services and gardening.
  • Recycling increased by 10%, from 713 to 795 tons, with a focus on plastics and corrugate materials, while reducing non-recyclable content.
  • Emissions were reduced by 15% through tracking and partnerships with international freight carriers.
